CONGRATS TO ATLANTIC DASH BOYS!

Back in summer 2011, Candy Jar helped produce a promotional video for two Welsh Firefighters attempting to row the Atlantic Ocean unsupported.

We're pleased to say that John Haskill and Jamie Windsor made it safely across. Enduring extreme waves, harsh conditions and painful sores, the boys completed the grueling challenge in 45 days, 19 hours and 21 minutes.

CANDY JAR FILMING ATLANTIC DASH

Candy Jar was on hand to film the Atlantic Dash Team launching their 2-man rowing boat into the water for the first time.

John Haskell and new recruit Jamie Windsor were at Channel View leisure centre, Grangetown to try the boat out in readiness for the official launch later this month.

South Wales Fire Service were on hand to provide support - including a 'Simon Snorkel' crane so that cameraman Justin Chaloner could get some stunning aerial shots!

CANDY JAR DASHING ACROSS THE ATLANTIC (WELL, SORT OF!)

Candy Jar is pleased to announce that it will be supporting two firefighters in their brave efforts to row the Atlantic Ocean unsupported.

John Haskell and Kevin Dite are raising money for three great causes: The Firefighters Charity, Breast Cancer Care and Help for Heroes.

On the 4th December 2011, the two South Wales firefighters will begin one of the world's toughest challenges, and row across the Atlantic Ocean. This 3000 mile rowing challenge will see them pushed to intolerable levels of physical and mental endurance.
